Next morning I did the walking tour. There were a ridiculous number of people, so it was split into 5 groups, but we still had 35 in our group. Ljubljana seemed like a really nice town, and we learnt about the history. At the end of the tour, my motorbiker friend, Davie arrived, and we grabbed some lunch and made some plans. After this, we did a boat trip down the river. Later, we took a trip up to the castle. From the outside it looked like it historically always would have, but inside it was clear they weren't trying to return it to its original state, but a hybrid of ancient and modern, and we concluded it would have made a great lair for a James Bond villain. Finally we got some dinner at a recommended restaurant. We had to wait a while for a table but it was worth it.
