Next day, I took a bus to Zagreb. First thing to do was a little tour of town. In the central square, they'd set up a stage. I assumed for a gig, but then discovered it was to welcome the water polo team, as Croatia had just won the World water polo championships. The old town seemed very nice and had a good vibe generally. With the exception of a long tunnel under the town, it was very hot. So, I headed back to the accommodation and went to the pool. I didn't swim exactly, with my plastercast, but it was nice to be in the water. I hung out and had a cocktail and chatted with the other travellers. Later, I met some people in a park where there was a jazz festival going on. After that, we went to a late bar.
