Next morning, early, I went to the hospital, where they removed my cast, x-rayed the wrist and said all was good to go and ride again. So I headed to the bike shop to pick up my bike, and after sorting everything out, I headed off. I then tried to catch up with Davie, who was in the mountains. I started out, and found that riding was fine. After a while of main roads, in order to find Davie, I needed to head into the mountains. The road up the mountain (Zillertaller Hohenstrasse) was narrow and wiggly, but very scenic. Fortunately my wrist was happy with this, as the track weaved its way up and up. Eventually, I met Davie at a cafe at the top and had a fantastic ice coffee. We continued back down and then onto the Gerlos pass. At the end of this was Europe's highest waterfall. We walked up it, taking in the views and enjoying the refreshing spray from it. That night, we stayed in the town nearby, Krimml.
