We went down to the lake for photos and to consider a swim, but swimming was only allowed in a special paid area, so we didn't. We then took the road down to Bohinje, another beautiful lake. Here we decided to give stand up paddle boarding a go. It turned out to be straightforward enough and we paddled out to the middle of the lake. There was a traumatic moment when I dropped my GoPro, and I thought I'd lost it in the lake, but luckily it had landed on the board, so all was fine. Then we continued south on some tiny roads which the Sat nav suggested and some were barely roads at all. There were many amazing views, and eventually we crossed the border into Croatia and stayed in Rijeka. We were on the outskirts of town, and took a while to find town but eventually found a good restaurant for fish for dinner.
