Next morning, there was another tour, this time to visit some non-touristy parts of town and see the scars of war on the buildings. Most, if not all buildings showed some bullet holes and mortar and rocket marks. Some were nearly completely destroyed and many had been destroyed and been replaced entirely. But most of the area was so poor that the damage had only been fixed where it left gaping holes in the building, and minor damage was not a priority.

Later, I had another wander round town and stopped at the city hall, which used to be the national library until it got burnt down in the war, and had since had a big renovation project to fix it. This had lots off interesting information on different aspects of the city and the war. After more wandering and coffee, I went to the Srebrenica museum, which had lots of information on the horrendous events that occurred there and in Sarajevo. After that I needed something more cheerful and went to the local brewery for dinner, and they played some local live music. In the evening we watched another war documentary in the bunker.
